A
geographer needs to know several skills to do they work. They should know how
to interpret different map, graphs, statistics, photographs, for say something.
For this, the geographer needs a number of tools that can show to you the
currently situation of a location or a situation. However leaving the material
work side, we must remember that to make a research is necessary to have a
theoretical support based in the epistemology of this discipline and all that
it brings with (Analysis of the social and physical space). Taken this last
idea of the analysis of social-space we need to immerse in the historical
process, in this way Chile have a lot of topics of interest but especially the
enviroments dealings.
In the 80's have to come to Chile many international company with the support of the new economic system implanted in dictatorship: Neoliberalism. This new system suppresses many labor rights and enviroment laws. If we are aware and follow the disciplinary currents of Geography, the epistemology and the "to do" always looking for the balance between nature and human space (Human settlements and nature form the enviroment and his complexity). As geographers we must fight because this prevails. The new economic systems that predominant the world, affect regions with polluters companies and in these regions are people rooted to the surface, to the culture of the zone, for example the case with trans-national company Barrick Gold and his miner project Pascualama in Atacama that destroy glaciers affecting indigenous communities or the Hydroelectric in the Region de Aysen. The sustainable economic is possible but is our work that can be achieved.

The topic of your presentation is not so clear to me, I believe you need to be more specific, provide clear explanations.
Check these things:
A geographer needs to know several skills to do HIS/HER work...
different mapS...,
, (for) TO say something...
show (NO "to") you the current(ly) situation...
remember that to DO (make) (a) research IT is necessary...
(Taken) TAKING this last idea of the analysis
Chile (have)HAS
enviroNments ("dealings")(?)
In the 80's have to come to Chile many international company
IN THE 80S MANY INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES CAME TO CHILE...
we must fight SO THAT (because) this prevails.
economic systems that ARE predominant
Barrick Gold and (his) ITS (miner) MINING project Pascualama in Atacama that destroyS glaciers...
(The) sustainable ECONOMY (economic) is possible but IT is our (work) that IT can be achieved...
